Ching Dong Bug is a noisy plug that I started making in 2002.
The cup part that receives water is movable, and the aluminum cup makes a "ching dong ching dong'' sound every time you shake your head, so I named it "Ching Dong Bug".
I made some in 2002 and field-tested them at Lake Dainaka in Shiga Prefecture in April of the following year, and surprisingly, I caught a 46cm bass on the first cast.
It is the most important lure of Domizu Honpo which has been making it for over 20 years since then.
I think this Ching Dong Bug in the photo was made in 2003.

Just a top water plugging
today
Zommasa is
caught a small, skinny bass in a pond near my house.
That doesn't matter though
What is noteworthy is
How
The lure that caught that small, skinny, dying bass was a popper called "Picnic" that I made 42 years ago (1981).
I'll ask questions later about why Zommasa has a lure that the person who made it doesn't own at all.
Well done anyway
Small and emaciated and on the verge of death, but he did well.
Zommasa is great
The rod is a 5-feet two-piece fiberglass tubular rod that I've been using for over 40 years, and it broke in the middle, so I repaired it myself.
The reel was given to me by Nora Hitsuji Fukuda (who passed away from cancer a few years ago), who lived in New Zealand with a Russian widow as his second wife.It is an in-spool reel that has been manufactured for nearly 60 years.

Just a Big Bass
Zommasa, an old friend of mine for more than 30 years, caught a 50cm bass within 3cm in a nearby wild pond.
Moreover, the lure is Muddy Waters' Child Torpedo that I made the other day.
Zommasa is usually a sloppy guy, but when he does something, he does it properly.
